6. Copy and PasteSite Studio can copy text and images from a number of programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, web pages, screendumps etc.
Copy the text and image below and paste into the Alpha Graphs page (under Products)
With Alpha Graphs you easily make your mathematical analysis presentable to anyone.
Did you get the image? The image is actually above the text, but the image has the align property set to right which means that the text after the image will wrap to the left. To select the text and the image place the mouse below "...anyone.", click and hold the mouse button and drag until the image gets selected. Then release the mouse button and press CTRL+C which is the shortcut for Copy.
Another useful function is when a text uses the correct headings.
Select the text below and copy it (start with the "This..." and end with "...subchapter") This will become a main chapterThis is the text for the first main chapter This will become a subchapterAnd this is the text of the sub chapter This will become a main chapter tooSo, this is the text for the second main chapter This will become a subchapterAnd this is the text of the second sub chapter
Now paste it as a book into the Alpha project below Contact. Name it "test".
Paste as Book is done by right-clicking the content tree and select Paste as book... from the context menu. In this excercise right-click the Contact document.
The Paste as book function is specially useful when having a document in a word processor and adopting it for the web. Site Studio creates new chapters for each new heading style found in the document, thus it's important that the document uses Headings (eg. Heading 1, Heading 2 etc.).
Now remove the test document (it was just an exercise)
Remove the test document by right-clicking on it and select delete.
