GRE Style


From this dialog the properties for a GRE style can be viewed and edited.

 


Text Style tab

Family

Sets the font-family used by the GRE style.

Size

Sets the font-size used by the GRE style.

Color

Sets the text color used by the GRE style. This is done using the Color Picker.

Horizontal alignment

Sets the horizontal positioning of the text on the GRE style.

Vertical alignment

Sets the vertical positioning of the text on the GRE style.

Margin

Sets the margin for the text of the GRE style.

Effects

Sets Bold, Italic, Underline, Uppercase, Lowercase and Smoothing of the text for the GRE style.

Drop Shadow

Settings to create a shadow effect on the text for the GRE style.

 


Background tab

 

Background Color

Sets the background color used by the GRE style. This is done using the Color Picker.

Background Gradient

The GRE style can create a background color with gradients. The settings for this is made here.

Background Image

The GRE style can use an image to fill out the background. The "Select..." button will open a Select Resource Type dialog from which a source for the image can be selected. If Library image is selected the Select Library Resource dialog will be opened.

 

Placement

This setting determines how to resize the background image or where to place it.

The following choices are available: left, top-left, top, top-right, right, bottom-right, bottom, bottom-left, center, resize to fit and copy split. 

Color Transformation

Defines if color transformation should be enabled or not. 

Padding

Sets the padding used for the background image.

 


Border and Overlay tab

 

Border

If a border is used, it can either be rendered as a 3D-style or a normal border. If it is rendered as a 3D-style border, the width, background color and shade color can be set. The colors are set using the Color Picker.

Overlay Image

The GRE style can use an image to place on top of everything else to create various effects. The "Select..." button will open a Select Resource Type dialog from which a source for the image can be selected. If Library image is selected the Select Library Resource dialog will be opened.

This setting determines how to resize the overlay image or where to place it.

Padding

Sets the padding used for the overlay image.

 


Image Size tab

Image Width

The width of the image created by the GRE style is determined here. It can be set in three modes, Fit to text, Fit to background image or by using a specific value in pixels.

Image Height

The height of the image created by the GRE style is determined here. It can be set in three modes, Fit to text, Fit to background image or by using a specific value in pixels.
