Import Options for Images

If you are importing images, you will get an opportunity to modify them before they are used on your web site. This function is commonly used to resize them so that they will be easier for the browser to download when viewing them on the web site. This dialog lets you decide exactly how they should be resized.

Image

Here you can decide if you want to resize the images you are importing. If you choose to do so, you can set the maximum width and/or height that the images will have.

Thumbnails

Here you decide if you want Site Studio to create thumbnails (smaller versions) of your images and also the size of them. You set the width and height of the thumbnails you want. There is also an option to make the thumbnails black and white (grayscale). You can always regenerate thumbnails at a later time in the Resources dialog

Thumbnails are commonly used by Image Viewing components.
