Project Colors

Instead of hardcoding (eg. selecting a fixed color) when, for instance, building a layout a color can be selected from the project colors and solved when the page is being built. This makes it possible to change the entire look-and-feel of the web site by only changing the site colors. Most of the provided project templates uses project colors and can therefore easily be changed.

Each project has a set of 28 colors defined. This combination of colors is referred to as a color scheme. There are several built in color schemes in Site Studio which can be used to instantly change the look of an entire web site.

Select Color Scheme...

By clicking the "Select Color Scheme button" The dialog from which to select a color scheme for the site will be opened.

Import Colors...

To import a color scheme into a project click the "Import Colors" button and select the desired .esscolor file from the "Open file" dialog which will be opened. This will change the color scheme of the project.

Export Colors...

A color scheme can be exported from a project and can later be imported into another project. The "Export Colors" button will open the "Save As dialog" which will create a file with the extension .esscolors in the location specified.
