Rebuilds all documents, cleaning old files and optimizing. Usually done before uploading files to an external server.

Shortcut key: F5

Upload site to server (smart sync)

Upload changed files to an external server. The external server settings are edited on the Deployment tab in the Project Properties Dialog.

The smart sync mechanism determines which files are necessary to transfer.

Shortcut key: F6

Upload site to server (all)

Upload all files to an external server. The external server settings are edited on the Deployment tab in the Project Properties Dialog.

This option will force an upload of all files for the web site.

View local site with external browser

Opens a browser and navigates to the start page in the project on the local computer.

This is a quick way to see how a preview of the web site looks in a browser.

Shortcut key: F11

View final site with external browser

Opens a browser and navigates to the start page in the project on the final web server. The web site must have been uploaded to an external server for this function to work.

This is a quick way to see how the final web site looks in a browser.
