16. Upload project files to server

The final step in this tutorial is to upload all necessary files to the hosting web server.

Site Studio provides two ways to upload files. Either by using the FTP protocol, which is the most commonly used standard for web hosting, and file transfer to a local network server.

In this tutorial we will set up a FTP connection.

The Project Properties button, which is located on the main toolbar.

Enter the FTP-settings in Project Properties (as shown below)

Click the Project Properties button and then click on the Deployment tab.

Fill in the values for your web sites if you have any (the value above is a sample only).

Note! If you enter the Web Site URL it's possible to use the F12 button to instantly view the final web site. F11 shows the web site on your computer using the default browser.

The information needed for this is normally received from the ISP hosting the web site.

Close the dialog by clicking the OK button.

Now deploy the project (i.e. upload it to the server)

The Upload button, which is located on the main toolbar.

Click the Upload button. All files will no be transferred to the hosting web server.

Your site can now be seen by everyone on the web.

Congratulations!
