Was ist XHTML?

XHTML ist der Nachfolger von HTML. Es baut auf XML auf und beschreibt den Inhalt anstatt wie der Inhalt dargestellt werden soll.

Da XHTML auf XML basiert, ist die Syntax von XHTML dieselbe wie die für XML.

Site Studio erstellt Webseiten, die der XHTML 1.0 Strict-Definition entspricht.

Browser wie Microsoft Internet Explorer enters standard compliant mode (which is well defined) for XHTML pages. For legacy HTML pages it enters a quirk mode in which the rules on how to render elements aren't as well defined.
